What Should We Bring On Our Trip?

We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and any food or drinks you’d like for the trip. Wear comfortable clothing and non-marking shoes, and don’t forget your camera to capture the day’s catch. If you’re prone to motion sickness, consider taking medication before the trip. Most importantly, come ready to relax and enjoy a great day on the water.

Our boat is a 36’ Palmetto center console, designed for comfort, safety, and serious offshore fishing. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, giving everyone plenty of space to fish and move around while enjoying the ride. The boat is fully equipped for a smooth and enjoyable day on the water.

How Far is the Boat Ride?

We'll head 1-3 miles offshore to target some of the most desirable sportfish in the world. We are extremely lucky to have such a short trip.

How Much Should I Tip?

A 15–20% tip for the captain and crew is customary and greatly appreciated if you enjoyed your trip. Our crew works hard to ensure you have a safe, fun, and successful day on the water.

THE BOAT

The "Get Reel" is a 36' Palmetto center console powered by twin 250HP Hondas. The open center console layout means you can follow a fish all the way around the boat instead of fighting it from one corner, and the twin engines get you to the bite fast and bring you home on time. We cap every trip at 6 guests, so nobody is fishing elbow to elbow. She is a proven 2001 hull that we fully restored in 2025, with updated electronics, outriggers, rod holders and current safety gear throughout.

All charters are weather permitting and will be up to the Captain's discretion if the trip needs to be rescheduled. All bookings require a 15% deposit to secure the date. This deposit is non-refundable once within 14 days of the booking date. Requests to change a trip date are subject to availability and may not always be accommodated. Any cancellations by the customer within 24 hours of the booking date will result in a charge of the full balance of the trip.
