Once again, Captain Colton was able to put us on the Sailfish. The kites were up and the lines weren’t in the water for more than five minutes and we had a Sailfish hooked and running off the starboard side. It’s was so much fun fighting that Sail, I will definitely be back! The rest of the day was full of more bites and we even spotted a whale just a few hundred yards from the boat!

Fishing was slow for all boats but Hector and Colton hustled and did their best. We will definitely fish with them again.

Came down with my son during what is considered a slower time of year in January and still caught a bunch of fish. Hector and Maria were great! Hector kept moving and working the wrecks, trolling, live bait etc. We ended up catching Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, snapper, squirrel and other species more than 20 in the boat at the end of the day. Hector sent us down to the restaurant at the end of the marina called South Shore I believe it was called. They blackened the snapper and Mahi for us, both were delicious. It was a great day! One to remember. Thank you Hector and the Get Reel crew!

We had a great day on the Get Reel! Captains Colton and Hector were awesome. We asked to fish for Sailfish. Soon after the lines were in the water, it was Fish On! We hooked a Sailfish and the fight was on. Hector was a great coach ensuring everyone knew exactly what to do. We (my daughter, my nephew, a friend and I) all enjoyed our time abroad the Get Reel. I can’t recommend these guys enough.

Absolutely awesome experience with Colton at Get Reel Sport Fishing in Ft. Lauderdale! He took our group of four kids out and was beyond amazing with them—patient, upbeat, and so great at teaching and encouraging them. The kids caught tons of fish and had an absolute blast the entire trip. Colton made everything easy, fun, and unforgettable. Capt Colton and Hector took my family of five out yesterday for a 3 hour kids tour. They did an awesome job getting my kids involved (ages 12,9,9) and knew a ton about the various species we caught (we caught about 8-10 different types). I would highly recommend them to anyone coming down to Florida looking to mix in some adventure to their vacation.

Thanks for the awesome review!! We had a great time with you and the family despite the bigger fish not biting and being able to get the kids on some cool reef species!

Captain Hector took us out during a cold front when the bite was reported to be slow, but that didn’t hold us back. We landed and released both a sailfish and a barracuda during the trip. Hector was knowledgeable, persistent, and genuinely focused on making sure we had a successful day on the water.

My 10-year-old son and I had a great fishing trip with Get Reel. Captain Colton was generous, patient, and happy to share his knowledge throughout the day. The bite wasn’t easy, but he stayed focused, adjusted techniques, and moved us to different spots until we were on fish. We ended up catching some solid fish and had a lot of fun along the way. This was our first trip with Get Reel, and it definitely won’t be our last. Thanks again for a memorable day on the water.
